To anyone late to the party, listen up: Cry of Fear is out!

I've come up with five tracks for the game, to my knowledge only three made it into the final version, but you may still listen to all of them.

Speaking of music, everyone who's buying the Keratordash album is getting a huge wallpaper as a little special thank you gift.

I'm once again working on several projects at once, if you want you can show me the way.

After almost two years, the album Desound by our new band Keratordash (that's Pinkerator and me) is finished and ready to be downloaded or - if you're feeling generous - bought for any price. You have several other options to consume Desound, simply head to the website and check out the links for each song and at the bottom.

And to top it off, we have more images by EvilSun and DarkLightSun!

And if after Keratordash your ears are still intact and you need some sleeping aid, listen to this cover of Emperor of Death. Sweet dreams!

Here are two photos of Somos on vacation:

I'd say he's enjoying his time off!

Furthermore, Leherus provides us with 8-bit versions of Sunrise and Sapience (among others), and Denikover came up with a video for Sweet Little Farm (some time ago, actually).

Remember the post about I'm a Dragon? Well, I found a way to revive it. Read the two available project updates to get a gist of what's the current status. Short version: I found a new exciting way to make it work and I promised myself I'd finish at least the world, so players can traverse it and interact with NPCs. Most features of the old version (prior to Steltie's version) have been implemented again, so I'm already at the content creation stage.

I guess openly talking about the problems with IAD really helped, so thanks for listening! Expect more news soon.

2012, eh? Bring it on!

If you're in need of a time killer, read some answers I've given or listen to some random thoughts about Halfquake.

A few days ago I saw that, apparently, there's a new way to play Half-Life mods. Quite interesting! The Halfquake Trilogy is already fully compatible.

At around the same time, I've made a Halfquake Amen Comic archive for easy downloading and viewing.

And if anyone's curious about the Cry of Fear tracks I've made, here's one of them. The rest will be released when Cry of Fear is out on February 22nd.

Even more music is on the way! The Keratordash album contains 12 tracks and it's basically finished. Now I'm focusing my energy again on the next Taskless Sheep collection, which currently consists of about 16 songs (at various stages of development).

As for games, I've got two or three ideas that may come to fruition soon. We'll see!

There's a new event over at planetphillip.com. Phillip will be playing all Halfquake parts over the next two weekends, this should be fun!

Halfquake Amen and Halfquake Sunrise are now both at Version 1.2. There was a nasty Steam error in HQA and some (now legendary) spelling mistakes, and the Somos battle in HQS had a strange small cube flying around (this was actually a button supposed to move with Somos), a broken wall that shouldn't have been broken yet and a trigger area that fired Somos' laser to a completely different target.

The HQS OST has also seen a little update (some time ago, actually).

As for what's going on right now - I'm trying to get the Keratordash album done by the end of December and then get straight back to Taskless Sheep. I'm still writing Walter's Deal, thinking of my next game and trying to choose my next engine or tool, with which I'm going to create said game. So far I've fired up Unity, UDK, even GameMaker, thought about using Flash again (and wrap those SWF files in cozy EXE robes) or simply utilize fancy HTML5.

I'm not sure yet, but I've got several ideas which need to be implemented soon, or else I'm going to explode.
