For the past two weeks I've been working on getting two more languages into the game, namely Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese.

The translation for Brazilian Portuguese was done by my patrons Nome and Nana, who are also working on an Afraid of Monster Demake.

This didn't require a lot of work on my part, since I've already drawn all the required letters back when I updated the font (together with Djigallag) for the Russian patch.

I also asked my friend and long-time Halfquake player Toyoch to translate it into Japanese. Toyoch is a professional translator whose recent work includes translation for Loop Hero (published by Devolver Digital). He's always had a knack for translating things, since he also translated the interview with Koumei Satou (Peaces Like Us / Sweet Half-Life) on Personal Halfquake back in 2004.

Getting Japanese into the game was a bit more challenging. I had to adjust quite a few TextMeshPro objects, all of the I2Localize objects required the Japanese font as an additional font for Japanese text, I had to generate a font atlas with only the unicode characters that are actually in use, and I had to change the controls overview to split up all the lines so they are all on the same height in both fonts. I'm still glad that I chose I2Localize because this would've been a lot harder to implement if I had programmed it all myself. This plugin is worth every cent.

Once again I want to thank Nome, Nana and Toyoch for their translations! I think there will be more languages in the futura, but for now this is the last patch that includes major changes.

I also worked on the soundtrack release. One of the two tracks that I have to mix is done now and you can listen to it before anyone else (see attachments). I have one more track to do ("Starsnow"), then I'll upload it everywhere.

• Halfquake (the first part) will turn 20 on April 19th, and I'm planning to do another livestream. More info soon!
• I'm planning to release Fallen Sheep on Spotify (etc.) mid-May with a new cover that's already being worked on.
• Catty & Batty will move to the hands of my publisher who will start working on a console port (however this is not set in stone, since it depends whether it gets accepted by Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft).
• Another music project.
• And more.
